Terms of Service

Welcome to EchelonHQ, the VALORANT Skirmish queue for EchelonHQ players (the Service), operated by Coadite, an indie software studio (we, us, our). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree with these Terms, do not access or use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. You must own a valid VALORANT account in good standing with Riot Games before playing EchelonHQ Skirmish.

Your EchelonHQ account uses Discord sign-in. VALORANT account linking is separate and can be managed from your profile when that feature is available.

This is an opt-in service. Signing in with Discord creates your EchelonHQ account. Linking a VALORANT account is a separate action and is only used for EchelonHQ Skirmish features.

By linking your account, your VALORANT identity, rank, and gameplay statistics may be displayed publicly within the Service (for example, on leaderboards, party rosters, and match-history pages) and to other EchelonHQ users. If you do not wish for your information to be public, do not sign in. You may revoke authorization at any time from your account settings, which removes your displayed data from the Service.

You agree not to:

• Cheat, exploit bugs, or manipulate matchmaking or MMR systems.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other players in chat, voice, or any Service feature.
• Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to interact with the Service.
• Resell, redistribute, or use Service data for commercial purposes without written permission.
• Impersonate Riot Games, Coadite, EchelonHQ, or any user.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, at our sole discretion.

This platform is for EchelonHQ Skirmish custom matches only. EchelonHQ Skirmish is a community-run custom-match format hosted through the Echelon queue and the Echelon Discord bot.

The Service is not an official replacement for VALORANT Competitive and does not replicate or replace any official VALORANT in-game queue. Your VALORANT Competitive rank, MMR, and match history are unaffected by anything that happens inside Echelon.

We do not provide pre-match opponent scouting features. Profiles, leaderboards, and match-history surfaces inside Echelon are scoped to EchelonHQ Skirmish play and are not designed to be used as scouting tools against other players' official accounts.

EchelonHQ Skirmish was created under Riot Games' "Legal Jibber Jabber" policy using assets owned by Riot Games. Riot Games does not endorse or sponsor this project.

Echelon doesn't reflect the views or opinions of Riot Games or anyone officially involved in producing or managing Riot Games properties. Riot Games and all associated properties are trademarks or registered trademarks of Riot Games, Inc.

The Service uses Riot services in accordance with the Riot Games Developer Terms when VALORANT account linking is used. We are a third-party developer; we are not Riot Games.

You retain ownership of content you submit (party names, queue chat messages, Skirmish tags). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and reproduce it solely for the operation of the Service.

You are responsible for content you submit. We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access. Riot Games API rate limits, downtime, or policy changes may affect availability.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

You may stop using the Service at any time and unlink connected accounts from your profile when supported. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if the Service is discontinued.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity) will survive.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We disclaim all warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

In no event will Coadite, EchelonHQ, our affiliates, or our contributors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Coadite, EchelonHQ, and our affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Coadite's place of business. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located there, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
