Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Coadite, operator of EchelonHQ (the Service), collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Service.

We respect player privacy. We collect only the data we need to run the EchelonHQ Skirmish queue. We do not sell your personal data. Period.

EchelonHQ is an opt-in service. We do not collect, store, or display any VALORANT account data unless you explicitly link your VALORANT account.

Signing in with Discord creates your EchelonHQ account. Linking VALORANT is separate. Until you link it, no identifiable VALORANT data of yours is available to us, to other players, or to anyone else through the Service.

Once linked, your VALORANT identity (Riot ID, region, current rank) and your EchelonHQ gameplay data (match history, party affiliations, Skirmish rating) may be displayed publicly inside the Service to other players. If you do not consent to this, do not link VALORANT.

When you sign in or link accounts, we may receive and store:

• Discord account details used for sign-in, such as your Discord user ID, display name, avatar, and email when Discord provides it.
• VALORANT account details after linking, such as Riot ID, region, and current competitive rank.
• Current VALORANT competitive rank, used only to seed your starting EchelonHQ rating.
• Match results from games played inside EchelonHQ (teams, scores, map, duration, participants).
• Custom-game rating, win/loss history, and party-affiliation records.
• Any preferences you set inside the Service (region, voice opt-in, mute list).

We do not collect:

• Your Discord or Riot passwords.
• Your matches outside EchelonHQ (we don't pull your full Riot match history).
• Personal information beyond what sign-in or account linking provides (no full name, mailing address, or payment data).

We use the data only to:

• Run the matchmaking queue and form balanced teams.
• Display your identity, rank, and EchelonHQ stats inside the Service.
• Maintain EchelonHQ-only ratings and leaderboards.
• Investigate abuse, cheating, or violations of our Terms.
• Communicate Service-related updates (no marketing email).

Your VALORANT competitive rank is used only as a starting seed for your EchelonHQ rating. Your EchelonHQ results never affect your VALORANT competitive rank, and vice versa, once your EchelonHQ history is established.

Your Riot ID, rank, and EchelonHQ stats are visible to other EchelonHQ users inside the Service (party rosters, leaderboards, match history). This is the opt-in tradeoff described above.

We do not share your data with third parties for marketing. We may share data:

• With Riot Games, as required by the Riot Games Developer Terms.
• With service providers we use to operate the Service (hosting, error monitoring), who are contractually bound to protect it.
• If required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, or property.

We keep your account-linked data while your account is active. If you unlink VALORANT, we remove the Riot link and reset your skirmish queue, party, rating, standings, and match-stat data for that profile. Account deletion is a separate request. Some records may be retained where required for fraud prevention, legal obligations, or anonymized analytics.

Anonymous, aggregated EchelonHQ statistics (total matches played, average queue time, map-pick rates) may be retained indefinitely for product analysis.

You may at any time:

• Unlink VALORANT from your EchelonHQ profile without deleting your login account.
• Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.

We use cookies and browser local storage strictly to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences (theme, region). We do not use third-party advertising cookies. See our cookie policy for details.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data (encryption in transit, secure Discord authentication, secure account linking, principle-of-least-privilege access). No internet system is perfectly secure; we will notify affected users promptly if we discover a breach involving personal data.

The Service isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we learn we have, we delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be announced in the Service and on our Discord. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision.
